Captain Siddharth Sharma navigated the entire pilot journey himself, from the initial hiccups of CPL exams to clearing his ATPL in one go. He realised early that theoretical knowledge alone is not enough to survive a professional cockpit.

Flying experience

With over 21 years in aviation and nearly 9,000 flying hours, Captain Sharma brings a depth of experience that cannot be downloaded. He has operated both wide-body Boeing 777 and narrow-body Boeing 737 aircraft across continents for three leading airlines of India, which gives him a global perspective on cockpit maturity.

Approach to mentorship

His mentorship goes beyond textbooks and checklists. By focusing on the personality attributes and technical discipline he mastered to reach the rank of Senior Commander, he has built a legacy of mentorship spanning aviation aspirants, CPL holders, airline first officers and even other aviation ground schools.

The goal is simple: to share the wisdom of the journey and shape competent pilots who think, act and command like professionals from day one.

What he sets at the academy

Every instructor at Sky Mentors is trained under his command through our Train the Trainer programme, which is how teaching stays consistent and airline-oriented no matter who takes your class. He also shapes the simulator progression, from basic aircraft handling through to jet-level procedures.

You can attend a live session to see the teaching approach directly, or read more about the mentors behind the academy.
