- Eligibility and Basic Requirements
1. Do I need any flying experience before joining?
No. The academy accepts students with zero experience and trains them up to CPL or ATPL standards with strong theoretical and practical foundations.
2. How do I know if pilot training is right for me?
If aviation excites you, you are comfortable taking responsibility, willing to study technical subjects, and ready for a dynamic lifestyle, pilot training may suit you. A counselling session or a trial flight or simulator session can help you and your family decide with confidence.
3. Can I join if I do not have 10+2 Physics or Math?
Yes. You can complete Physics and Math through NIOS or other recognised open school boards to meet the DGCA 10+2 requirement with a minimum 50 percent aggregate. Many students do this before or alongside ground school.
4. Do you help with NIOS or open schooling for Physics and Math?
Yes. The academy guides students through registration, subject selection, and timelines so they can complete these subjects without delaying their aviation journey.
5. What if I wear glasses or have colour blindness?
Wearing glasses is usually acceptable as long as your corrected vision meets DGCA medical standards. Colour blindness may impact eligibility, so it is recommended to get evaluated by a DGCA approved medical examiner before starting full training.
6. How early can I start preparing to become a pilot?
Students can begin preparing as early as Class 9 or 10 by focusing on Physics, Math, and English. DGCA oriented preparation, medicals, and counselling usually begin after Class 12, although some join foundation batches while still in 12th standard.
- Training Structure and Duration
1. How long does the training usually take?
Ground school generally takes 6 to 12 months, depending on the number of subjects and batch structure. Completing the full CPL program including ground and flying usually takes 18 to 24 months. Timelines may vary based on exams, weather, and individual progress.
2. What is a typical day like for a student?
Most days include 3 to 6 hours of classroom sessions, short breaks, and time for self study or doubt clearing. As exams approach, students get access to additional revision classes, mock tests, and Q and A sessions.
3. Can I study while in college or working?
Yes. Many students balance aviation studies with college or jobs by joining weekend or evening batches. Recorded sessions and structured plans make this manageable.
4. Is online or hybrid training available?
Core training happens offline with smart boards and simulators. Students also receive recorded lectures, live online doubt clearing sessions, and access to a question bank app. This helps working students or those who travel frequently.
- DGCA Exams, Documentation and Academics
1. Do you assist with DGCA exams and documentation?
Yes. Students are guided through applying for the computer number, creating and updating their eGCA profiles, registering for DGCA exams, understanding exam patterns, and completing all related documentation.
2. What if I fail a DGCA exam?
You get up to three attempts per paper with re registration fees. The academy provides free re attempt support including targeted revision classes and mock tests until you clear the exam.

Parents receive bi weekly progress reports through email or the app, including attendance, marks, and instructor feedback. Quarterly parent teacher meetings and campus visits are also encouraged.
- Career Preparation and Placements
1. How do you prepare students for airline interviews?
After ground training, students can attend specialised modules covering technical interviews, psychometric tests, HR rounds, group discussions, and simulator familiarisation. Mock sessions are conducted by experienced airline captains.
2. What support do you provide for placements and airline jobs?
While no academy can promise a job, students receive career counselling, CV and logbook checks, interview practice, written test training, and basic simulator or mock assessment orientation where available. This helps students become confident and industry ready once licensed.
- Loans, Financing and Tie ups
1. Can I get an education loan for pilot training?
Yes. Many Indian banks and NBFCs offer loans specifically for CPL training. These loans often cover tuition fees, flying hours, DGCA charges, and sometimes accommodation. Loan amounts usually range from 60 lakh to 1.5 crore depending on collateral and profile.
2. What does a pilot training loan usually cover?
A typical loan covers tuition fees, simulator charges, DGCA and licence exam fees, study material, accommodation, and for overseas programs, visa and travel expenses. Repayment usually begins after course completion and the moratorium period.
3. Do you have tie ups with banks or finance companies?
Yes. Many academies partner with specific banks and NBFCs for faster loan processing, simplified paperwork, and pre approved course structures.

1. What happens if aviation market conditions are slow?
Aviation hiring works in cycles. Slow periods are usually followed by strong recruitment phases. Students are encouraged to use quieter periods to complete exams, build flight hours, and strengthen their skills so they are ready when hiring accelerates again.
